.1 The space that is being planned is otherwise called the "work triangle", which is the area of action where the errands completed in a kitchen include the sink,

the cooker and the fridge. The essential thought is that these three components, associated by nonexistent lines,

are in nearness (yet not excessively near) each other.

.2 Consequently, the work triangle is intended to limit traffic inside the kitchen and to work with admittance to the three machines while cooking.

.3 A few significant rules are recommended by the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association),

as to effectively set up a work triangle. It is prescribed to keep the work triangle distance between the sink,

ice chest and cooker at 7 m (= 23 ft) or less. Work triangles that surpass 7 m/23 ft make moving starting with one capability then onto the next illogical.

.4 The ideal length of the work triangle lies between 4 m (13 ft) and 6 m (19 ft).

.5 The kitchen work triangle is an idea used to decide various kinds of kitchen designs that would be both aesthetical and utilitarian/effective.

A few instances of kitchen configuration are displayed underneath.
